Welcome to CPA's Campus Access Profile!
Many post-secondary accounting students approaching the completion of their studies will also be proactively considering the start of their full-time accounting careers. Likewise employers in B.C. are looking to proactively engage with and identify quality key candidates for career opportunities within their organizations. Many of these employers are amongst the CPA employment partner ranks, or have established CPA approved training positions. CPA is pleased to offer this Campus Access Profile as a means to connect and engage graduating post-secondary accounting students with these employers.
By completing this CPA Campus Access Profile, students in their last year of post-secondary studies will be provided with opportunities to engage with employers through various means such as CPABC networking events and speed interviews, or may be contacted directly by qualifying employers. Three months prior to when the student is available to work full-time, they are provided with full access to the CPABC Careers Site to commence applying for positions posted there. This access is limited to six-month duration as students are expected to have enrolled as CPA PEP students by that time.
The CPA Campus Access Profile is restricted to current post-secondary accounting students who;
- are available to commence full-time work within one year,
- have successfully completed (or anticipate completion of) a minimum of 8 of the 14 CPA prerequisites prior to the date they are available for full-time work,
- have attained a minimum 65% grade in each successfully completed CPA prerequisite,
- are currently registered as CPA CareerConnect members.
